Network Operations Center Analyst and Team Lead
Monitored network connections for availability and worked with client sites and ISPs to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues. Assisted Network Engineers with troubleshooting network connections from analog dialup to T3, including DSL, private LAN in an MPLS cloud and site-to-site VPN connections, interfacing with ISPs, and interpreting performance data. Assisted Hardware Service department with troubleshooting and resolving installation script errors on VMWare ESX Server. Administered Virtual Machines on a VMWare Server Updated client helpdesks and kept upper-level managers up-to-date on how sites performed. Designed, implemented and maintained time-saving and productivity-increasing software tools for the SageNet NOC. The tools drastically reduced call time and increased the speed at which specific issues could be diagnosed. -
